Work/Life Balance

Fox Rothschild has established policies that help its female employees meet the challenges of balancing work and family. These include various leave policies and part-time and other alternative work options that allow flexibility in how work is done and how careers are developed.

Women at Fox Rothschild do not have to choose between work success and family. Indeed, women working alternative schedules continue to achieve success within the firm.

Julia Swain, who recently was elevated to partner after working a part-time schedule for several years, says: “As the mother of two young boys, I have found the firm’s culture of embracing the needs of parents in the workplace invaluable in achieving the balance between career and home. The firm has a strong commitment to work-life balance issues and promotes open discussion regarding maternity and paternity leave and flexible schedules to accommodate the needs of its lawyers.
