As a member of the firm's Litigation Department, Alex practices in the areas of civil litigation and white-collar criminal defense. She has litigation experience at the state and federal level in Pennsylvania, as well as a number of other jurisdictions.
In additional to general business litigation, Alex has been involved in matters including contract disputes, breach of contract claims, insurance and personal injury.
As part of her white-collar criminal defense and compliance practice, Alex has been involved in the representation of individuals and entities facing state or federal criminal charges, or that are the target of a federal government investigation. She has also represented local and international clients in civil forfeiture proceedings, and recently worked to help secure the release of all seized property for several clients facing the forfeiture of private assets.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Alex was an associate at a Scranton, Pa.-based law firm where she represented clients in various personal injury and workers’ compensation claims.
While in law school, Alex was a student clinician in the Appellate Litigation Clinic, where she was appointed as amicus curiae by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Court on behalf of an indigent inmate on a Prison Litigation Reform Act statutory interpretation issue. Alex briefed and argued her position before a three-judge panel.
Also while in law school, Alex served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Seamus P. McCaffery of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and for the Honorable Cynthia M. Rufe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
