Benjamin represents clients in a range of civil and commercial litigation matters. He has experience representing sophisticated commercial insureds and national insurance carriers in construction, contract, products liability, premises liability, professional negligence, complex tort, auto and large loss subrogation matters. He has also handled bad faith, uninsured/underinsured motorist law and coverage issues and served as lead counsel in jury cases that resulted in favorable verdicts in the Court of Common Pleas.

Among his successes, Benjamin successfully appealed a client conviction relating to the operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance. In this matter, Commonwealth v. Griffith, the Pennsylvania Superior Court published an opinion holding that expert testimony is required in support of a conviction where prescription medications are suspected of causing the impairment.

Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin was a trial attorney with Hendrzak & Lloyd, a law firm that serves the legal needs of the insureds of the Zurich Insurance Group throughout the Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania areas. Prior to his employment with Zurich, Benjamin gained significant experience in insurance-related matters while working for regional insurance defense firm, Swartz Campbell LLC.

Following law school, Benjamin was a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Jeffrey L. Schmehl, President Judge of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas.
