Steve is a counselor to many closely held businesses and their owners in matters involving:
- corporate issues
- estate planning
- succession planning
- buy/sell arrangements
- compensation planning for family and non-family executives
- income tax advice
- business acquisitions, mergers, and dispositions
Steve also represents clients involved in tax controversies, including:
- matters before the Appeals Division of the Internal Revenue Service and the Conference and Hearings Branch of the New Jersey Division of Taxation
- matters before the United States Tax Court and the New Jersey Tax Court
- working with accountants on complex income tax examinations regarding Federal and New Jersey tax issues
- representing multi-state corporations in connection with New Jersey tax liabilities
Steve attended the Masters of Law program (in taxation) at New York University Graduate School of Law. He also practiced as a certified public accountant for 9 years specializing in tax matters.
Steve is an active member of the Board of Trustees of St. Mary Medical Center Foundation, Langhorne, PA. He also regularly teaches on tax and business law related topics before various professional groups. Steve has written several articles that have been published in legal, accounting, and business journals.
