As an attorney practicing finance and franchise law in Pennsylvania and New York including a strong presence in the New York City, Philadelphia and Bucks County regions, Liz focuses on a wide variety of corporate, venture finance, franchising, licensing and distribution matters. For more than 20 years, Liz has been a trusted advisor to clients, including startup companies and entrepreneurs, handling business and financial transactions such as venture capital and angel financing, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, securities, private placements, franchise regulatory matters and franchise agreements.

As co-chair of the firm’s Franchising, Licensing & Distribution Group and a lawyer practicing in the Technology & Venture Finance Group, Liz offers her clients a comprehensive practice equipped to provide risk management through innovative guidance in a company’s start up, expansion or daily operations.

Liz acts as general counsel for numerous emerging and middle-market businesses, including franchise, life science and technology companies, overseeing and coordinating their finance and regulatory matters. She is also a member of the firm’s Corporate Securities Practice Group.

Active within the Bucks County community, Liz serves as a Board Member of Doylestown Hospital Foundation, Doylestown, PA; Board Member of The Village Improvement Association of Doylestown, PA; and has served as the Chair of the Annual Fund of the Buckingham Friends School, Lahaska, PA. Liz also serves as a Board Member of the East Side House Settlement, Bronx, New York.

Liz is managing director and co-founder of Delaware Crossing Investor Group, an angel investors network headquartered in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is the co-founder and co-chair of the Philadelphia Women's Franchise Network of the International Franchise Association.

Liz served as a judge in "Pitching Across America," in 2009, 2010 and 2011, a contest presented by FundingPost to select and rate top emerging companies in America. Liz also acted as a moderator for the "Sharkette Tank" angel investment competition for the Own It Ventures Conference in 2010 and 2011.

Liz is a frequent speaker and writer, especially on issues facing franchise and emerging businesses, as well as on issues pertaining to women's entrepreneurship. She is an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) and in 2013 participated in the organization's annual Venture Summit, Impact. In addition, she is a member of Marquis Who's Who in America, Marquis Who's Who of American Women, Marquis Who's Who in American Law and Marquis Who's Who in the World.
