Julie concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, including:
- divorce
- custody
- support
- equitable distribution
- abuse
Julie litigates family law cases in the five-county Philadelphia area, including appellate courts and negotiates settlements and prenuptial agreements.
Julie was associated with several area firms, where she represented clients in domestic relations matters. She also was a staff attorney at the Philadelphia Bar Association, providing advice and information on a broad range of legal matters. While in law school, Julie spent a summer studying at the University of Geneva.
Julie is currently Treasurer of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. She is also a member of its Executive Committee and is CLE Coordinator. In 2007, she was elected Secretary of the Family Law Section, which will ultimately result in her ascension to chair in 2011. She is a frequent writer and speaker on family law issues and in 2009 was elected to the Editorial Board of the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, the monthly newspaper of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Julie's articles have been published in the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, The Legal Intelligencer and The Pennsylvania Family Lawyer. She has served as an instructor of Family Law for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Half Moon Production, Gratz College and The People’s Law School. She was a speaker at the Federal Court Immigration Ceremony and was the featured speaker on the cable program “Philadelphia Legal View.”
Julie also contributes to the Pennsylvania Family Law Blog, which provides readers with information on and insight into Pennsylvania Family Law issues, including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, child support, spousal support, alimony pendente lite, and custody.

• Recipient of the White Hat Award from the Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD) for her outstanding volunteer work (2009)
• Selected as a 2008 "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly. Julie is one of only 35 Pennsylvania attorneys under the age of 40 selected as a future leader of the Commonwealth's legal community and for having made a significant commitment to the community-at-large.
