Named as one of the leading bankruptcy and restructuring attorneys in Delaware by Chambers USA, Jeffrey has over 25 years of professional experience relating to the financial industry, first as an economist and then as an attorney.
Jeffrey has represented the interests of all types of parties in many of the larger bankruptcy cases in the United States since the early 1990's. He represents domestic and international clients, with current highlights including the representation of Major League Baseball. Recent representations of chapter 11 debtors include the representations of a billion dollar home builder and developer, a large debtor in the power generation industry and a company in the gaming industry operating in different jurisdictions, which successfully reorganized through the chapter 11 process. In addition, he advised two different companies through an expedited “prepack” chapter 11 plan process, which succeeded in restructuring their debt.
Further, Jeffrey recently represented a permanent trustee in liquidation of companies in the mortgage industry, creditors' committees in the bankruptcies of a vehicle manufacturer, an aluminum products producer and a pharmaceutical supplier, several trustees prosecuting various types of litigation and a hedge fund in one of the largest and most complex bankruptcies ever filed in the United States.
Jeffrey is a certified mediator for commercial disputes. Twice he attended an intensive mediation training program at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Jeffrey is a member of the Mediation Panel for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and is certified as a mediator by the Delaware Superior Court.

Prior to joining Fox, Jeffrey was an equity partner and Chairman of the Board at his former firm. Prior to attending law school, Jeffrey worked as an economist at the Federal Reserve and subsequently for a large financial institution.
