Biography

Carlos represents businesses in labor and employment matters, with an emphasis on issues brought before the National Labor Relations Board, including representation and election proceedings and collective bargaining negotiations. Additionally, he handles wage and hour claims. 

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Carlos was a field attorney for the NLRB, where he investigated charges of unfair labor practices. He prepared motions and briefs to administrative law judges and the NLRB, drafted and negotiated stipulations necessary for union representation elections, served as a hearing officer in pre-election proceedings and negotiated pretrial settlement agreements.

Carlos was a law clerk at several New York and New Jersey-based law firms, as well as an intern with the NLRB, Region 22. He was also a summer intern at the Union County Prosecutor’s Office. Additionally, he was the business editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Review and a member of the Labor and Employment Law Society and the Rutgers Law Human Rights Forum.
