Biography

Colleen is a skilled litigation attorney who represents clients in a wide range of complex business and commercial disputes. Her experience ranges from defending companies in general liability, products liability and mass toxic torts in state and federal courts to counseling individuals in estate planning and personal income tax matters.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Colleen was an attorney in the Minneapolis office of a national law firm, where she focused her practice on asbestos personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Colleen also clerked at the Minnesota Court of Appeals for the Honorable Edward J. Cleary. While at the court, Colleen worked on a variety of civil cases, including personal injury and wrongful death claims, property disputes, civil commitment claims, unemployment benefits disputes and family law cases. She also handled adult and juvenile criminal cases ranging from DUI and misdemeanor charges to criminal sexual conduct and second-degree murder charges. 

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Colleen is excited to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota. Her contributions to the Bar include her current positions serving as vice chair of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association Diversity Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors and secretary of the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association. She is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota Women Lawyers.

Colleen received her B.A. in Irish Literature from Creighton University. Before law school, she participated in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as the program and volunteer coordinator for a nonprofit restaurant in Seattle. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law. While in law school, Colleen served as the lead articles editor for the Creighton Law Review, was inducted as a member of Alpha Sigma Nu and participated in a service trip to the Dominican Republic. She also assisted in writing and revising an article regarding reciprocity and the Law of War, published in the Harvard International Law Journal.
