September 29, 2016 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Mark V. Santo has joined the firm in the Pittsburgh office as a partner in the Corporate Department.

“We are excited to welcome Mark to the firm,” said Bill Stang, Fox’s Pittsburgh office managing partner. “His unique perspective on international mergers and acquisitions bolsters the firm’s cross-border deal making capabilities.”

Santo has enjoyed an extensive international career serving as general counsel to leading global multinationals in Asia and Europe, particularly within the process automation, engineering and industrial manufacturing markets. He previously served as group vice president and general counsel in North America for Leonardo-Finmeccanica, Italy’s leading defense, security and aerospace company. He also has extensive executive management experience, having served as president of Parvus Corporation of Salt Lake City, a former U.S. subsidiary of a European embedded systems supplier, recently acquired by Curtiss-Wright.

Drawing upon his experience as both a CEO and general counsel, Santo brings a distinct perspective to his client’s strategy and business operations, fusing executive management and legal experience into a powerful, value-added advisory service.

Santo has guest lectured on international business and law at the Graduate School of Business at the MIP Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He is also active in foreign affairs and currently serves as vice president and officer of the board of the American Middle East Institute. From 2007 to 2009, he served as president and CEO of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. He is also an adjunct professor of law at Duquesne University School of Law where he teaches an International Strategic Transaction course.

Santo received his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center in International and Comparative Law and his J.D. and B.A. from Duquesne University.
