Chicago Business Journal Honors Donna More as a Woman of Influence

February 27, 2018 – Press Releases

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Donna More, named among the 2018 Women of Influence by the Chicago Business Journal.

More, who serves as the firm’s Chicago office managing partner, was one of 37 women in the region selected for their positive impact on the Chicago business and civic communities and for their mentoring of young executives.

A longtime leader in Chicago’s legal profession who has been influential on the local criminal justice system and in the state’s highly regulated gaming and cannabis industries, More oversees a team of more than 20 lawyers in Fox’s Windy City location and serves a key executive role within the firm.

In her legal practice, she provides compliance, regulatory, corporate and transaction services to clients in Illinois and throughout the United States. Drawing upon her experience as general counsel to the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) and her tenure as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois and Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney, she guides clients through licensing and regulatory issues in hearings before administrative agencies.

More also volunteers with Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship’s CEO program, teaching a business class to high school juniors and seniors at Chicago Hope Academy. The program helps to lay a foundation of familiarity with the corporate world for students who may not have been previously exposed to it.

More received her J.D. from Georgetown University; her M.A. from Northwestern University and her B.A. from Tufts University.
