An Upcoming Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Event

Effective July 1st, all home improvement contractors must be prepared to have their contracts in compliance with the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act. Contracts that do not contain the specific requirements of the Act will be deemed VOID. In addition, civil and criminal violations may result from non-compliance of the Home Improvement Act and the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law. On June 24th the County of Bucks Business Development and Consumer Protection Departments will host a free workshop on, “Contract Compliance with the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act.” Ms. Julie D. Goldstein, Esquire of Fox Rothschild LLP will facilitate the program. Pre-registration with the UBCC is required due to venue capacity and to ensure document availability to all attendees. There is no fee to attend.
