Critical Labor and Employment Law Workforce Challenges and Recommendations for Health Care Providers
Robert C. Castle will speak at the AHCA/NCAL 67th Annual Convention & Expo on "Critical Labor and Employment Law Workforce Challenges and Recommendations for Health Care Providers."
This session will afford attendees an opportunity to participate in a highly interactive look at critical workforce legal and practice challenges facing health care providers. Presenters and participants will use case studies to discuss the practical, “real world” dimensions of topics, including strategies for managing workplace accommodations, effectively responding to allegations of harassment in the workplace and effective progressive discipline and performance management. Presenters will also provide critical insights on federal labor law issues and practices related to maintaining union-free health care facilities, important wage and hour developments, human resource management issues of special interest to health care providers and regulatory topics such as the CMS Payroll-Based Journal. In addition to the interactive dialogue, presenters will provide time for participant questions.
