Jeffrey Pollock will be a speaker on “How the Heck Did That Get In? Evidentiary Issues in a Bad Faith or Coverage Trial” at the 2014 ACCEC Annual Conference.

The battle over admissible evidence in a bad faith case often occurs outside the presence of a jury. The panel will discuss, among other things, whether identical claims by other insureds, the state of mind of adjusters and complaints against carriers are admissible in showing carrier bad faith. The panel representing both the carrier and policyholder perspective will discuss procedural, evidentiary and practical trial issues related to the scope of evidence issues that can make or break a case.
