Intellectual Property Law Primer
10th Floor, Suite 1010
8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Most businesses and many individuals own or use intellectual property of some type, and no lawyer can afford to remain unaware of the rights and potential liabilities that may arise. This course is designed for non-experts and general practitioners and will cover the fundamentals of patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. By the end of the program, you will understand the basic requirements and scope of these intellectual property rights, be able to advise clients as to how to protect their intellectual property and manage related legal risks, and know when to seek advice from expert IP counsel.
