The widespread use of antibiotics in veterinary and human medicine has heightened concerns about the emergence of antimicrobial resistance, which impacts animal welfare, public health, food safety and environmental exposure. An effort to reduce the use of antibiotics in animals is becoming increasingly promoted. This international conference serves as an exchange of views on the path forward.
