Melvyn J. Tarnopol of Fox Rothschild to Moderate and Present Seminar on Law of Easements

Melvyn J. Tarnopol, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP and chair of the firm’s New Jersey Real Estate Department, will moderate a panel of experts, and present with them, at the "Law of Easements: Legal Issue and Practice Considerations in New Jersey" seminar. The seminar, sponsored by Lorman Education Services, will be held at the Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on October 16, 2008.

In addition to Tarnopol, the panel includes Robert M. Cunningham, New Jersey Department of Transportation; Michael L. Donini, Esquire, Madison Title Agency, LLC; and Lee David Medinets, Esquire, Madison Exchange, LLC. Discussion will focus on types of easements, drafting and enforcement issues, 1031 issues, and government issues related to easements and rights of way.

Tarnopol represents national lending and real estate institutions in lending work, asset recovery, and workouts. He handles a wide variety of matters involving real estate development, land acquisition projects, joint venture agreements and other entity formation agreements, such as shareholder agreements for corporations. Tarnopol has experience with operating agreements for limited liability companies and hotel and other property management; financing documentation and negotiations; representing companies in hotel development and leasing as well as land acquisition projects, including survey, title, and easement issues; overseeing commercial litigation; and handling matters related to condominiums and cooperatives.
