Justice Virginia Long was the keynote speaker for Rutgers School of Law’s First Monday Program, which was held on on October 22, 2014. Long spoke on “Protecting Workers and Consumers from Corporate Abuse.”

First Monday is hosted by the Eric R. Neisser Public Interest Program at Rutgers School of Law–Newark. Jill Friedman, dean for pro bono and public interest at Rutgers School of Law–Camden, who oversees the Neisser program, will serve as moderator.

First Monday represents the law school’s recognition of the October day on which the U.S. Supreme Court begins a new term and is the kick-off event for the academic year’s public interest programming.
