Recent Legislative & Judicial Developments in Employment Law
Stanley L. Goodman and Beth A. Hinsdale-Piller, partners with Fox Rothschild LLP, will speak at an Employment Law Update session as part of the Financial Managers Club seminar series on April 24 and April 30, 2008.
Both Goodman and Hinsdale-Piller, who are partners in the firm’s Labor & Employment Law Department, will discuss “Recent Legislative & Judicial Developments in Employment Law.” Goodman will instruct at the April 24 session, which will be held at Hanover Manor in East Hanover, New Jersey. Hinsdale-Piller will instruct during the April 30 session, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Jamesburg, New Jersey.
Goodman represents management clients on issues of labor relations, employment discrimination, and wrongful termination. He has extensive employment litigation experience, with a particular emphasis in matters involving whistle-blowers, race and age discrimination, and breach of contract before administrative agencies and state and federal courts, including successful jury trials. Goodman also provides advice and counsel to employers throughout the country in a wide range of industries, and is a frequent lecturer on employment and labor related topics.
Hinsdale-Piller also represents management clients, and regularly trains clients in areas such as harassment awareness, diversity, hiring and firing, discipline and discharge, and on labor and employment laws in general. She also regularly advises private sector employers on employment and labor relations issues such as compliance with the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, employment discrimination laws, wage and hour laws, sexual harassment, and wrongful discharge.
