Joshua Horn and William M. Dailey recently explored some of the changes that will occur in 2010 in connection with the Securities and Exchange Commission at this PBI seminar. The idea for this program arose from a client alert written by Josh and Bill on "SEC Enforcement Staff Gains Subpoena Power (and Other Evolutions in the Division's Authority and Responsiveness)."

During the hour-long program, Josh and Bill discussed what companies can expect from the SEC in the coming year, including the enforcement staff's new subpoena power; a streamlined management and investigative process designed to expedite cases; the creation of specialized units for specific practices, transactions, products and markets; and initiatives to provide greater incentive for cooperation with the SEC.
