Failures in design or operation of compensation arrangements subject to Internal Revenue Code Section 409A can result in significant penalties.

This program provides an overview of the broad application of Section 409A and its unexpected potential impact on numerous compensation arrangements, including consulting and retention agreements, bonus and incentive compensation arrangements, severance/separation plans or agreements, employment agreements, equity plans and awards, phantom stock plans, supplemental pension plans and deferred compensation plans.
