December 20, 2007
Philadelphia Bar Association’s Health Care Law Committee Meeting of the Business Law Section

David S. Sokolow, a partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, will speak at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Health Care Law Committee Meeting of the Business Law Section. The Committee is hosting a discussion on “Stark III: The Changes Keep Coming…” on December 20, 2007.

Sokolow will co-moderate the discussion, which will focus on the recent changes set forth in the adopted Stark III Physician-Self Referral Regulations as well as the additional proposed Stark changes that were announced under the earlier 2008 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Rule but which have not yet been adopted, along with the controversial Anti-Mark-Up Rules for certain diagnostic tests that go into effect in January 2008. He will be joined by Karl A. Thallner, an attorney at Reed Smith.

Sokolow is chair of Fox’s Health Law Group. He focuses his practice in a variety of regulatory and transactional areas such as fraud and abuse, physician self-referral, and false claims; health care compliance programs and regulatory compliance; internal investigations; and more.
