The increased use of the Internet, and social media web sites like Facebook and Twitter, has given business owners and other professionals new opportunities to market skills and products and to better communicate with employees and other business owners. These mediums also provide opportunities to receive feedback from customers or clients in ways not possible only a few years ago.

Although this technology has brought opportunities for business growth, its popularity among employers and employees has opened doors to lawsuits that can hurt a company's bottom line and potentially destroy its reputation.

This presentation is designed to help business owners, HR professionals and other business professionals understand how to potentially profit from, and best utilize, the Internet and social media web sites, while reducing the risks of the legal pitfalls that can result.
