New Music Seminar

481 8th Avenue

New York, NY

Join us for a revolutionary look into the evolving music industry at this annual seminar dedicated to furthering the business of music. We especially hope you will attend the courses we’ll be presenting:

  • The New Music Publishing Model – How Are Rights Being Administered?
  • The New Deal – Exploring Alternatives to the Traditional New Artist Record Agreement
  • Building the 100 Billion Dollar Music Business: New Ways To Monetize Music in the Market Place

We’ll also be hosting an exclusive closed-door session, “The Creator and the Copyright Act.” This movement invites the industry and the legal community to come together to explore the legal issues that arise when art lies not in a document or piece of content, not in a book or record, but in what others have done with that asset and to work through a new approach that both incentivizes the new crop of casual creators while continuing to protect traditional artists and art.

The following CLE credits will be administered for each of the three courses we will present:

  • California – 1.0 substantive/general CLE credits
  • Delaware – 1.0 substantive/general CLE credits (application pending)
  • Florida – 1.0 substantive/general CLE credits (application pending)
