Gregory focuses his practice primarily in oil and gas exploration and development transactions. He possesses substantial experience in the acquisition and development of oil and gas reserves. He provides acquisition and operational legal counsel in connection with numerous producing basins throughout the United States, including non-conventional production, such as coal-bed methane. He also has an extensive background in the federal income tax implications associated with such transactions.
In addition, Gregory handles the financing, formation, operation and liquidation of joint venture and partnership arrangements. He also has vast experience representing financial institutions, both domestic and foreign, and providing loan production financing and other revolving credit facilities to the extractive industries.

Prior to joining Fox, Gregory was an attorney at a national law firm.
Before entering private practice, Gregory was a senior tax attorney with Sun Company in Dallas and with The Superior Oil Company in Houston. In these roles, he handled numerous acquisitions of oil and gas interests, both domestically and internationally.
