A representative listing of the matters in which we have appeared before the ITC includes:

  • Successfully represented Highline United, LLC, in a dispute before the U.S. International Trade Commission in which the ITC invalidated both the common law and registered trademarks for Converse’s Chuck Taylor All Star shoe and confirmed that Highline’s ASH branded footwear did not infringe the asserted marks.
  • Represented two respondents before the International Trade Commission (ITC) in a Section 337 Investigation based on a complaint filed by Seiko Epson Corporation and others and met clients' objectives. Investigation No. 337-TA-565, In the Matter of Certain Ink Cartridges and Components Thereof. Represented the clients when a second printer company (Canon) initiated ITC case No. 337-TA-829, as well as in corresponding district court cases.
  • Successfully defended Thunderbird Films, Inc., a Canadian production company, in a case brought before the International Trade Commission (ITC) regarding the originality of a broadcast television program and allegedly unfair methods of competition.
