Named as one of the leading corporate restructuring attorneys in Delaware by Chambers USA, Jeffrey has more than 30 years of professional experience, first as an economist and then as an attorney.
Jeffrey has represented the interests of all types of parties in hundreds of cases in Delaware since the early 1990s. Some highlights include the representation of Major League Baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers bankruptcy and ad hoc bondholder committees and other senior parties in interest in two of the largest Chapter 11 cases in Delaware (Washington Mutual; Energy Future Holdings). Debtor representations include companies in the following industries: mining and steel pellet production; electric vehicle and energy storage; pallet leasing and logistics; event rental services and products. Other recent representations include ad hoc group creditor groups active in restructurings, senior lending institutions in reorganizations, an equity committee and more than 20 franchisees of a temporary staffing company.
In addition, Jeffrey advises corporations and limited liability companies on Delaware law. He also represents clients in litigation before Delaware courts, including the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Jeffrey is a certified mediator for commercial disputes. He completed an intensive mediation training program at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. He is a member of the Mediation Panel for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and is certified as a mediator by the Delaware Superior Court.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Jeffrey is one of the owners of a Class A minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. In July 2017, he was named Co-chair of the American Bar Association's Sports-Related Disputes Subcommittee. In 2016, he completed a program at the Minor League Baseball University in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Jeffrey is an adjunct professor of law at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.
Jeffrey has been active in various community and nonprofit organizations, including service on the Board of Trustees of the Delaware Historical Society, Board of Directors of the Grand Opera House, Board of Directors (past President) of the Westover Hills Civic Association and the National Advisory Council for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Building and Grounds Committee of CCCH and the Rotary Club.
Jeffrey has been engaged in various professional organizations, including the ABA, ABI and Sports Law Association.

Prior to joining Fox, Jeffrey was an equity partner and Chairman of the Board at his former firm. Prior to attending law school, Jeffrey worked as an economist at the Federal Reserve and subsequently for a large financial institution.
