Major Recent Developments in Telemarketing and Texting Rules for Business
Noon to 1 p.m. ET – 9 to 10 a.m. PT
Changes to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, put into action on October 16, 2013, will severely limit the routine of companies accustomed to placing marketing phone calls or engaging in text message-based marketing campaigns. Many businesses have been caught off-guard by the recent changes and as a result have been put at risk to be targeted for class action litigation by a very active plaintiff's attorney community.
Our program will focus on the state of applicable law and how businesses can comply with and adapt to these new changes.
