Mary represents clients in an array of labor and employment matters, both in litigation disputes and counseling. She has particular experience representing clients in the health care sector.
Mary has successfully defended employers in claims involving violations of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act, New Jersey Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the United States Constitution and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Mary also advises organizations in maintaining compliance with developments in employment law, and helps employers create workplace policies and employment manuals to limit risk of future litigation. Further, Mary counsels clients in relation to issues concerning the mandatory reporting of health care practitioner conduct under federal and state law.
Mary has also handled matters involving:

- The New Jersey Tort Claims Act
- Insurance coverage disputes
- Appellate practice
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Mary was a litigation associate at a New Jersey-based law firm. She also previously worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph L. Foster of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean Vicinage, Civil Division.
During law school, Mary served as a summer associate at two separate law firms. She was also a participant, board member and oral argument semi-finalist in the Rutgers School of Law-Camden’s Moot Court. Additionally, Mary travelled to South Africa to present a paper she co-authored with other students to several Justices of the Constitutional Court regarding the differences that exist between the United States Constitution and the South African Constitution when determining whether a party has standing to bring a claim in court.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Mary mediates small claims cases in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean Vicinage, Special Civil Part as an R. 1:40 qualified mediator. She is also involved with Ocean of Love, a non-profit organization that assists families of children with cancer where she provides pro bono legal services. Additionally, Mary is a member of the Connecticut College Alumni Admissions Program Prospective Student Interviewing Committee.
