Maureen combines her business and health care background to provide practical guidance to institutional clients, which include New Jersey and Pennsylvania long-term care providers, assisted living facilities and hospitals as well as physicians and physician group practices. She provides a wide range of corporate and transactional services to health care providers including: overseeing acquisitions and sales of privately owned facilities and physician practices; structuring hospital and physician group joint ventures; handling a wide spectrum of state and federal licensing, regulatory and compliance issues; consulting on operational and business planning issues; overseeing real estate transactions and leases; and design and drafting of contracts and employment agreements.

Maureen also handles corporate transactional and real estate matters for privately held businesses.

Maureen has substantial experience in secured transactions under the Revised Article 9. She is a member of the firm’s Opinion Committee, and is responsible for reviewing transactional and reasoned opinions.

Maureen served as a clerk to the Hon. Virginia Long, J.A.D., Superior Court of New Jersey.

Prior to practicing law, Maureen was a critical care nurse for 12 years, working in the intensive care units at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital. Prior to nursing, she owned restaurants in central Pennsylvania.

Maureen was also a member of the editorial staff of the Delaware Corporate Law Journal.
