Biography

Michael represents both individual entrepreneurs and corporate clients in a wide range of multinational mobility and compliance matters, including those who seek to qualify themselves or their employees under categories of nonimmigrant (H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, E-1, E-2, E-3 and TN, among others) and immigrant (through employment-based or family based sponsorship) statuses. He advises and represents a diverse set of multinational companies in industries such as banking and financial services, construction and property development, energy and technology, research and health care, as well as the restaurant and hospitality sectors, among others.

Michael also represents foreign investors and entrepreneurs who seek permanent residency under the EB-5 immigrant investor program.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Michael was an attorney in the Miami office of a national law firm.

During law school, Michael was a summer associate and law clerk in the Coral Gables office of an international law firm. He was also a student attorney at the University of Miami School of Law Human Rights Clinic, worked as a research assistant for a former professor who is now a senior adviser to the President of the United States and also has experience clerking for a Miami-based white collar defense firm.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Michael currently represents several pro bono clients and also mentors law school students. Committed to the well-being of the Miami-area residents, Michael volunteers for a local Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Legal Clinic, which helps undocumented children receive reprieves from deportation. He has also won several awards for his public service and volunteer work.
