Michele handles a variety of matters related to education law, including representing school districts in special education matters, labor and employment issues, charter school applications and construction and purchasing matters. She has significant experience in trials, arbitrations, mediations, depositions and arguing motions in state and federal court on behalf of schools and school districts.
In addition, Michele has experience handling a variety of litigation matters, including serving as assistant solicitor for numerous municipalities in Bucks and Montgomery counties; prosecuting and defending civil and equity claims for municipalities; advising boards and councils on issues such as land development and zoning and drafting resolutions and ordinances. Michele has also represented clients in matters involving premises liability, products liability, construction and warranty litigation.
- Drafted, argued and won motion for summary judgment on an issue of first impression in Hackett v. Costa, 2000 Mass.Super.LEXIS 472, 12 Mass.L. Rep. 420 (Mass.Super.Ct. 2000).
- Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a municipality in a claim of defective design specifications.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Michele was an associate at a Pennsylvania-based law firm focusing on education law. She also previously worked at multiple Pennsylvania- and Massachusetts-based law firms.
While in law school, Michele was a law clerk for the Honorable Michael Joseph Melody, Jr. in the Chester County Common Pleas Court.
