Biography

Nancy has more than 25 years of experience in corporate and transactional law and serves as a trusted business adviser to her clients. As a former in-house general counsel to an international manufacturing company, she has great insight into and a thorough understanding of the business operations and challenges encountered by companies and leverages that experience to provide strategic guidance to help clients achieve their goals.

Nancy handles a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including joint ventures and strategic alliances, acquisitions and divestitures, private placement of securities, secured lending transactions and subordinated debt and equity financings. She also negotiates and drafts various business agreements for clients, including shareholder, operating, license and supply, sales representative and distribution, executive employment and compensation, nondisclosure and other agreements for the protection of trade secrets as well as incentive compensation plans and agreements. Additionally, Nancy has represented franchisees throughout the United States and has assisted with the purchase and sale of various types of franchises as well as in resolving franchise disputes.

For her clients in the manufacturing industry, Nancy provides counsel on the implementation of safety programs, protection of trade secrets, purchase and supply arrangements, limited warranties and terms and conditions of purchase and sale. She also conducts internal audits and investigations.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Nancy was the founder and managing member of McDonald Law Group, LLC. She also served for 12 years as in-house general counsel for Longwood Industries, Inc., a closely held international manufacturing company.

While in law school, she served as editor of New Jersey Developments for the Rutgers Law Review.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Nancy consistently devotes her time to providing legal services to women in need on a pro bono basis.

She was a trustee of the Frog Crossing Foundation, a private foundation dedicated to supporting the needs of women worldwide and to addressing various concerns relating to animals. She was also a founding member of Jersey Girls Softball, Inc., a nonprofit ASA Girls Fastpitch softball organization for girls 18 and under, and served as its manager and treasurer.
