Peter J. Tucci was quoted in The New York Times article, “A Family Tie to Napoleon.” Full text can be found in the December 19, 2013, issue, but a synopsis is below.

Joseph Bonaparte, the brother of Napoleon, spent years in America after being deposed as king of Spain and exiled.

Peter Tucci, collects items related to Joseph, including a Gothic Revival mahogany chair from the Bordentown, New Jersey home where Joseph once lived.

Many of Joseph’s belongings were auctioned in the 1840s, with pieces ending up in places such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Athenaeum of Philadelphia and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

“It’s bits and pieces everywhere,” said Tucci.
