Abraham Reich and Stephanie Resnick of Fox Rothschild Recognized as Pennsylvania Litigation Stars in 2011 Benchmark Litigation Guide

Abraham C. Reich, co-chair of Fox Rothschild LLP, and Stephanie Resnick, chair of the firm’s nationwide Litigation Department, have been noted as litigation stars in Pennsylvania in the 4th edition of Benchmark Litigation, the Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.

Benchmark is the only publication on the market to focus exclusively on litigation in the United States. Its researchers conduct extensive face-to-face interviews over a year-long period in order to get the most accurate feedback about the market. Recommendations are based on extensive face-to-face and telephone interviews with the nation’s leading private practice lawyers and in-house counsel.

Reich and Resnick are also noted as leading litigation attorneys in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA and both have been selected as among the "Top 100 Lawyers in Pennsylvania" and the "Top 100 Lawyers in Philadelphia" by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine.

Reich represents clients in all aspects of business litigation, including antitrust, securities, trade secrets, legal ethics and professional responsibility and alternative dispute resolution. He frequently lectures and writes on business litigation, legal ethics and professional responsibility.

Reich served as Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association in 1995. He serves as a member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board. He is also is on the Board of Governors for the Philadelphia Bar Association and is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, American Association for Justice, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Reich earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1974 where he was a member of the Law Review, and his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.

Resnick concentrates her practice on all aspects of business litigation in state and federal courts. She represents and counsels individuals, corporations and boards of directors in directors' and officers' liability; misappropriation of trade secrets; health care/physician issues; employment-related litigation, including restrictive covenants; and defamation and media issues.

Resnick was the recipient of the 2010 Sandra Day O'Connor Award presented by the Philadelphia Bar Association, an honor that recognized her more than two decades of service and dedication to the advancement of women in the legal profession.

For 25 years, Resnick has been extensively involved in the Philadelphia Bar Association, serving as a past chair, and former member, of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Board of Governors. Resnick currently serves as the Third Circuit Representative to the American Bar Association Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary. This prestigious 15-member standing committee evaluates candidates for the federal judiciary at the U.S. District, U.S. Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court levels. She is also a former chair of Women's Way, the nation's oldest and largest funding federation for services for women and children.

For six consecutive years, Resnick has been selected as one of the “Top 50 Women Lawyers in Pennsylvania” by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine. She earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1984 and her A.B. from Kenyon College in 1981.
