Virginia Long, a member of the firm’s Princeton office, was featured in the Times of Trenton for joining the board of directors of the Centurion Ministries, a Princeton-based organization dedicated to liberating wrongfully convicted prisoners across the country.

Long, a former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice, will join an organization that in its 29 years of operation has successfully freed 49 inmates who served a collective 956 years behind bar for crimes they didn’t commit.

Long told the Times of Trenton, “I can’t imagine how people wouldn’t want to be involved in helping people who were wrongfully accused return to society.”

In her new role, Long will examine ways in which Fox Rothschild attorneys can help participate in the investigations that Centurion conducts. The work done by Fox Rothschild attorneys would be pro bono, Long said.
