Area Law Firms Boosting Their Estate, Tax PracticesAugust 12, 2010 – In The News
North Jersey law firms are increasing their estate and tax practices in anticipation of the Jan. 1 expiration of the Bush administration tax cuts. Fox Rothschild recently added six tax and estate attorneys from the Hackensack firm of Deener Hirsch and Shramenko to increase its presence in New Jersey.
According to Mark Silow, administrative partner of the firm, tax and estates is a practice area that will continue to thrive, and Deener’s tax and estate experience “fits very nicely with one of our strong practice areas” at the firm. Additionally, this enables Fox Rothschild to diversify its New Jersey offices. The firm already has offices in Roseland, Princeton and Atlantic City and was looking to expand in North Jersey. The six added attorneys will join the Roseland office and continue serving its clientele in Hackensack and Bergen County.
Jerome Deener noted the estate tax affects many people in Bergen County, and the move to Fox Rothschild allows him to expand his referral base.
