Carrie B. Nase, an attorney with Fox Rothschild LLP, has been appointed to the Governance Committee of the CORA Services, Inc. Board of Directors. CORA is a private, educational, community based, nonprofit, multi-funded agency offering professional human services to children, youth, and their families in the Greater Philadelphia area.
“This is a wonderful honor for me,” said Nase, who is resident in Fox’s Philadelphia office. “I’m looking forward to working with such a terrific organization and helping the many children who need CORA’s services and programs.”
Nase focuses her practice on a broad range of real estate, land use, and related business matters, including assisting residential, commercial, and industrial developers, builders, and property owners in the acquisition, sale, financing, or leasing of real estate; securing zoning, subdivision, and land development approvals; and forming planned community and condominium associations. She has been selected as a "Pennsylvania Rising Star" by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine (2006, 2007).
Founded in 1971, CORA (www.coraservices.com ) has developed a comprehensive range of services that provide assistance for children and families in 65 non-public schools, 25 public schools, one city recreation center, and two community centers. Services include individual, group, and family counseling; educational services; referral assistance; community drug and alcohol prevention educational and treatment; GED and job training; speech services; and psychological services. After school programs and adult enrichment programs are also available. Additionally, CORA operates a licensed pre-school and child care program.
