Carrie Nase of Fox Rothschild Appointed to BIA of Philadelphia Board of Directors

Carrie B. Nase, an attorney in the Real Estate Department in the Philadelphia office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was appointed to the board of directors of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Philadelphia on Dec. 8.

Now recognized as the “go to” organization for real estate information and advice from policy makers and elected officials, the BIA of Philadelphia has become a leader in the real estate development industry. The BIA’s mission is to advocate for and create more market-rate housing in Philadelphia.

Nase primarily focuses her practice in representing developers, educational institutions, builders and property owners in connection with zoning and land use matters, as well as transactional matters. Her zoning and land use practice includes securing subdivision and land development approvals; obtaining approvals from zoning hearing boards for variances, special exceptions and zoning interpretations; and filing curative amendments and validity challenges. Her transactional work includes representing clients in connection with the acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of property, including the preparation and negotiation of agreements of sale and loan documents, preparation of commercial leases for retail and office space and preparation of planned community and condominium documents.

Active in the real estate community, Nase is a member of the Home Builders Association of Bucks and Montgomery Counties, the Urban Land Institute and the Governance Committee of CORA Services, Inc. She earned her J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 2004 and her B.A. from Temple University in 2000.
