Craig A. Styer, administrative chair of the Litigation Department in the Exton office of Fox Rothschild LLP, has been appointed to the Widener University School of Law Board of Overseers.
As a member of the Board of Overseers, Styer will advise the Board of Trustees, President, Dean and faculty of the law school on various matters that will help the school fulfill its long term goals. Among other things, the Board of Overseers assists with appointing the Dean and ensuring the Dean’s well-being to serve the school.
Styer is a partner and member of the firm’s Partnership Advancement Committee. In his practice, Styer solves business problems, successfully representing a variety of clients in matters involving shareholder disputes, real estate, insurance coverage, probate litigation and complex business litigation. He also represents clients with employment issues, including restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of employment agreements and unfair business practices.
Styer serves on the Board of Directors of the Chester County Economic Development Council and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations, the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties and the John Stively Inn of Court. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Widener University School of Law in 1990, and his B.A. from Dickinson College in 1987.
