David A. Greene, partner in the West Palm Beach office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was recently appointed chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Corporate Law and Counsel Committee for the 2012-2013 term as well as First Vice President of Leadership Palm Beach County.
As chair of the Corporate Law and Counsel Committee, Greene will be responsible for leading the newly-formed committee in providing networking opportunities for non-litigation members of the Bar and in creating opportunities for in-house counsel and attorneys to exchange ideas. As First Vice President of Leadership Palm Beach County, Greene will be responsible for Leadership Palm Beach County's three primary programs: the Adult Program, the Youth Program and the FOCUS Program. Leadership Palm Beach County is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and unite leaders to build a better community. Greene participated in Leadership Palm Beach County's FOCUS Program in 2004, graduated from Leadership Palm Beach County's year-long Adult Program in 2006 and has served as General Counsel, Treasurer, and Second Vice President of Leadership Palm Beach County. A member of the firm’s Litigation Department, Greene focuses his practice in complex commercial litigation matters involving banking, title insurance, real estate and construction litigation. He also has experience in franchise litigation, securities disputes, physician group dissolutions and other business disputes. Greene regularly handles litigation matters for banks, title insurance companies and their insureds, merchant services providers, franchisees and building contractors.
An active member of his community, Greene served as president of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach County and as an officer and director for the Sunshine Council of Campfire Boys and Girls, the Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society and the Boca Raton Sunrise Citrus Center Kiwanis Clubs. Additionally, he participated in the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court LIV and serves on the Judicial Relations Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
Greene received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1996 and his B.B.A., with honors, from the University of Miami in 1993
