David Restaino of Fox Rothschild LLP Appointed to Special Committee of New Jersey State Bar Association

David Restaino, partner in the Princeton office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was appointed to the Renewable Energy, Cleantech and Climate Change Committee by the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) effective Sept. 29, 2010. Restaino is currently chair of the NJSBA’s Environmental Law Section.

As a member of the Committee, Restaino will participate in initiatives focused on renewable energy, green building and energy efficient technologies and the ongoing developments related to mitigating the impact of climate change, as well as discussions of how such initiatives and interests impact the practice of law. The Committee is part of the NJSBA, a voluntary professional association supporting more than 17,000 members in the legal profession who help to educate and provide awareness to the New Jersey public of the legal profession and legal system.

Restaino focuses his practice in environmental and energy matters, including development, permitting, compliance, recycling and reporting, as well as health law and real estate matters. He provides dynamic litigation, transaction, regulatory and strategic counsel for complex commercial matters in state and federal jurisdictions. Restaino is also a member of the Air and Waste Management Association, Somerset County Bar Association and Water Environment Federation.

Active in environmental issues, Restaino has authored many articles and presented on topics including climate change, air pollution control issues and more. His articles have appeared in a variety of publications, including Environmental Protection Online.

Restaino earned his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law in 1990 and his B.S. from Ithaca College in 1987.
