Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Eileen Oakes Muskett has joined the firm as partner in the Litigation Department in the firm’s Atlantic City office.

Muskett has an extensive litigation practice that encompasses mass tort, products liability and pharmaceutical litigation. She frequently represents clients before the Atlantic County Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and possesses substantial knowledge of the local legal landscape in New Jersey. Muskett often serves as a key trial team member in major pharmaceutical litigation matters, providing essential insight on handling cases in the New Jersey court system and helping to bring significant matters to successful resolution. She has been involved in representing some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies in mass tort litigation involving blockbuster drugs for osteoporosis (Fosamax®) and hair loss (Propecia®).
Muskett is also well-versed in handling labor and employment law matters. She represents clients at the administrative level as well as in the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the EEOC and state and federal courts in cases involving wrongful discharge, unemployment appeals, breach of contract and illegal harassment claims. Muskett also assists clients in a preventative capacity, such as performing in-house training on anti-harassment issues, supervisory skills, family leave and how to implement discipline to employees. She also reviews company policies and employee handbooks and has assisted employers in reductions in force.
A former law clerk for the Honorable Carol E. Higbee in Atlantic Country Superior Court, Muskett is the 1998 recipient of the Atlantic County Bar Association and United Way Community Service Award. She was named the “Outstanding Young Lawyer of 2002” through the Honorable Benjamin A. Rimm Award and was included in a list of Atlantic City Weekly’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2009. She is a member of the Atlantic County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Muskett is a graduate of Widener University (J.D., 1994) and Stockton State College (B.A., 1991).
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Muskett was chair of the Mass Tort – Products Liability and Pharmaceutical Litigation practice and a member of the Employment Litigation Department at Cooper Levenson.
