Elizabeth Banks and others associated with the 2014 movie "Walk of Shame" are requesting $360,616 in attorneys' fees after successfully defeating Dan Rosen in a copyright infringement suit. A U.S. District Judge ruled on August 17 that the two scripts only had "isolated similarities" and had no basis for copyright infringement.
Banks as well as the other defendants, including Producer Todd Garner and Broken Road Productions Inc., claim that Rosen hid his screenplay in order to drag out the length of the case and possibly end with a settlement between the two sides.
Fox Rothschild's David Aronoff is representing Garner and Broken Road Productions.
