Elizabeth J. Hampton Named “Champion for Business” by Princeton Chamber of Commerce

Elizabeth J. Hampton, counsel in the Litigation Department at Fox Rothschild LLP, has been chosen as the Princeton Chamber of Commerce’s September 2014 “Champion for Business.”

The monthly award recognizes an outstanding Princeton region business leader for his or her contributions to supporting the Chamber while growing their own business and demonstrating the values of being a good corporate citizen.

A longtime advocate of the Chamber, Hampton is one of the founders and also the current chair of its Women in Business Alliance. This program’s mission is to provide and promote an environment for business women to connect and build relationships focusing on professional development and growth, collaboration with business and community leaders and support for women's issues. These goals strongly align with Hampton’s personal and professional pursuits throughout her career.

Led by its board of community leaders, the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce provides members with networking opportunities and insight on public policy issues affecting both the community and business, and encourages economic development in the Princeton area.

A luncheon honoring Hampton will be held on September 4 at the Princeton Marriott.

In practice for more than 22 years, Hampton assists clients with various business-related litigation issues, shareholder disputes, probate and restrictive covenant litigation and health care matters, developing strategies tailored to their specific needs. She provides a range of services, including, litigation representation, agreement preparation, health care review and best practices, and litigation counseling and prevention. Hampton is also a certified arbitrator for the Superior Court of New Jersey and a frequent lecturer on such topics as civil trial preparation, health care law and equity matters.

Hampton earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law receiving the American Jurisprudence award for Equity.
