Atlantic City, NJ – Fox Rothschild LLP has announced that Eric M. Wood has been named Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Atlantic City, New Jersey, office. Wood assumes the role from Daniel S. Ojserkis, who served as managing partner for four years before stepping down on April 1, 2008.

“The firm is grateful to Dan for his leadership in the Atlantic City Office,” said Mark Silow, Fox Rothschild’s Administrative Partner and Chief Operating Officer. “He’s done an excellent job, and we’re looking forward to Eric’s assumption of the role and duties and continued growth in both Atlantic City and throughout New Jersey.”

“I’m pleased to have the opportunity to lead such a dynamic office,” said Wood, who also serves as co-chair of Fox’s Litigation Department. “I’m looking forward to enhancing the capabilities of the office and the many talented attorneys here.”

Wood concentrates his practice on complex litigation matters including the defense of medical malpractice on behalf of hospitals, physicians, and nurses; commercial litigation matters, business disputes, and matters arising out of real estate transactions; probate litigation; and construction-related matters, representing owners, contractors, and design professionals. Wood is certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court and the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and has litigated matters in federal and state courts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Florida.

Active in the legal community, Wood is a member of the Atlantic County Bar Association, where he is a Trustee, and the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court.
