Eric S. Solotoff Named Co-Chair of Fox Rothschild’s Family Law Practice

July 20, 2010 – Press Releases

Dedication and years of experience to the practice of family law has earned Eric S. Solotoff, a partner in the Roseland office of Fox Rothschild LLP, a leadership role as co-chair of the firm’s Family Law Practice Group.

Solotoff joins current co-chair David Rasner in leading and managing the more than 30 members of the group. The group has expanded significantly in the last year and now has a presence across 14 of the firm’s 15 offices.

“Naming Eric as co-chair of the group is a result of his dedication to the Family Law Group and his dedication beyond his role within the firm to family law,” said Rasner. “Eric’s leadership capabilities will be an asset to the continued growth of our team.”

Solotoff has been an active member of the Family Law Practice since joining the firm several years ago and serves as editor of the firm's New Jersey Family Legal Blog. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. He also recently selected to be the chair of the Supreme Court’s District XB Ethics Committee.

Solotoff's practice has focused on family law litigation and related matters, such as matrimonial actions, including complex matters involving valuation issues; custody, including high conflict matters; alimony and child support; paternity; and domestic violence, among others.

Active in the legal community, Solotoff holds memberships in the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice’s Family Law Section, New Jersey Association for Justice Family Law Section, New Jersey State Bar Association and the Essex County and Morris County Bar Associations. Eric was also recently selected for fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America.

Solotoff earned his LL.M. in Taxation and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1994 and 1992 respectively; his B.A., cum laude, from State University of New York at Albany in 1989; and graduated from the American Bar Association Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in 2001.
