Eric Solotoff of Fox Rothschild LLP Appointed Chair of District XB Ethics Committee

Co-chair of Family Law Practice in Fox Rothschild’s Roseland office, Eric Solotoff was appointed chair of the District XB Ethics Committee by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

Made up of attorneys and public members, the district ethics committees investigate and prosecute ethics cases involving New Jersey attorneys. The XB Ethics Committee serves West Morris and Sussex counties.

Solotoff's practice has focused on family law litigation and related matters, such as matrimonial actions, including complex matters involving valuation issues; custody, including high conflict matters; alimony and child support; paternity; and domestic violence, among others.

Solotoff has been an active member of the Family Law Practice since joining the firm several years ago and serves as editor of the firm's New Jersey Family Legal Blog. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.

Active in the legal community, Solotoff is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice’s Family Law Section, New Jersey Association for Justice Family Law Section, New Jersey State Bar Association and the Essex County and Morris County Bar Associations. Eric was also recently selected for fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America.

Solotoff earned his LL.M. in Taxation and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1994 and 1992 respectively; his B.A., cum laude, from State University of New York at Albany in 1989; and graduated from the American Bar Association Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in 2001.
