Fox Rothschild announced it will start offering fellowships for women who have undergone a hiatus in work due to raising children or helping take care of relatives. These fellowships help women adjust back into full-time legal careers.

With these fellowships, women are offered a $125,000 stipend, including a full-time contract and benefits in more than 15 different practices areas.

The number of female associates recently stopped declining after years, although women still only make up 21 percent of all partners. The founders of this fellowship, OnRamp, are hoping that this will encourage more women partners to take back full-time positions.

So far, 16 fellows have been chosen, a third of which were women of color. This number is expected to rise as more law firms continue to jump on the bandwagon.
