Fox’s Lindette Hassan Appointed MBA Intellectual Property and Communications Law Committee Co-Chair

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Lindette C. Hassan, counsel in the firm’s Blue Bell office, has been appointed co-chair of the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA) Intellectual Property and Communications Law Committee.

Hassan has been active within the MBA for numerous years, serving as secretary (2013), vice chair (2015) and chair (2016) of the Young Lawyers Section, vice chair of the Diversity Committee (2013) and co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Communications Law Committee (2013).

The Montgomery Bar Association, comprised of more than 2,100 Montgomery County attorneys, serves as an invaluable legal resource for businesses and the community.

In her intellectual property practice at Fox, Hassan handles domestic and foreign patent prosecution involving biological, chemical and pharmaceutical inventions; intellectual property risk assessment for various business models; trademark availability opinions, preparation and prosecution of trademark application preparation, trademark protection and trademark licensing; copyright application, copyright protection, copyright licensing and copyright enforcement; patent licensing; development and coordination of international trademark protection; and intellectual property due diligence for potential acquisitions.

In addition to her work with the MBA, Hassan is a former board member of Teens In Perspective, Inc. (T.I.P.), a nonprofit organization that provides leadership development programming to teen girls from low- to mid-income families.
